
🍋 Garlic Butter Lemon Chicken (4 Breasts)
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt & black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4–5 garlic cloves (minced)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning (or mixed dried herbs)
- ½ cup chicken broth (or water)
- Optional: chopped parsley or sliced lemon for garnish
Instructions
- Season the Chicken
Pat the chicken breasts dry. Season both sides with salt, pepper and paprika. - Sear
Heat 2 tbsp butter in a pan over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5–6 mins per side until golden brown and nearly cooked through. Remove and set aside. - Make the Sauce
In the same pan, reduce heat to medium.
Add the remaining 2 tbsp butter and minced garlic. Cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in the lemon juice and chicken broth, then stir in Italian seasoning. Let it simmer 1–2 mins. - Finish Cooking
Return the chicken to the pan. Spoon the sauce over the top and cook another 3–4 mins, until chicken is fully cooked and sauce slightly thickens. - Serve
Garnish with parsley or lemon slices if you want, and pour the sauce over the chicken when serving.
