
This is a traditional, nutritious summer drink commonly made in South Asia.
Ingredients:
3 tbsp Sattu flour (roasted gram flour)
2 tbsp sugar (or to taste)
1½ cups chilled water or milk
A pinch of cardamom powder (optional)
Ice cubes
Chopped nuts (almonds, pistachios – optional)
Instructions:

- In a jug, mix sattu and sugar with a few tablespoons of water to make a smooth paste.
- Add the remaining chilled water or milk gradually and stir well.
- Add cardamom powder if using.
- Pour into a glass with ice cubes.
- Optionally, garnish with chopped nuts.
- Serve chilled.
