🍋 Garlic Butter Lemon Chicken (4 Breasts)

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4–5 garlic cloves (minced)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning (or mixed dried herbs)
  • ½ cup chicken broth (or water)
  • Optional: chopped parsley or sliced lemon for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the Chicken
    Pat the chicken breasts dry. Season both sides with salt, pepper and paprika.
  2. Sear
    Heat 2 tbsp butter in a pan over medium-high heat.
    Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5–6 mins per side until golden brown and nearly cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Make the Sauce
    In the same pan, reduce heat to medium.
    Add the remaining 2 tbsp butter and minced garlic. Cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
    Pour in the lemon juice and chicken broth, then stir in Italian seasoning. Let it simmer 1–2 mins.
  4. Finish Cooking
    Return the chicken to the pan. Spoon the sauce over the top and cook another 3–4 mins, until chicken is fully cooked and sauce slightly thickens.
  5. Serve
    Garnish with parsley or lemon slices if you want, and pour the sauce over the chicken when serving.
