
Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef (or shaved steak)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup milk
- 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1½ cups shredded provolone or mozzarella
Instructions:
- Cook Beef: In a large skillet, cook ground beef in olive oil until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add Veggies: Stir in onions and bell pepper, cook until slightly softened.
- Add Liquids & Pasta: Pour in beef broth and milk. Add pasta, Worcestershire, garlic powder, salt & pepper. Stir well.
- Simmer: Cover and cook on medium-low, stirring occasionally, for 12–15 minutes until pasta is tender.
- Add Cheese: Stir in shredded cheese until melted and creamy.
- Serve: Garnish with extra cheese on top, if desired.
Quick Tip: For extra cheesiness, sprinkle more provolone on top and broil for 1–2 minutes before serving.
