Shrimp and Crab Grit Bomb Skillet 🍤🦀
A deliciously creamy skillet dish packed with shrimp, crab, and cheesy grits.
Ingredients:

  • 1 cup grits
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup lump crab meat
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
    Directions:
  • In a pot, bring water to a boil and stir in the grits. Cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the cheddar cheese until melted and smooth. Set aside.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  • Add shrimp, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Gently fold in the crab meat and combine.
  • In a large serving dish, spread the cheesy grits and top with the shrimp and crab mixture.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
