WHITE GRAVY

Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter or bacon fat
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 to 2.5cups whole milk
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions:
- Melt butter or bacon fat in a large skillet over medium-low heat.
- Add flour and whisk constantly for about 3 minutes, until lightly golden.
- Slowly pour in milk while whisking to keep it smooth.
- Stir in cayenne, salt, and black pepper.
- Keep whisking until it thickens to your liking.
BEEF GRAVY
Ingredients:
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 cup cold Water
Instructions:
- Bring the beef broth to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Stir in garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
- In a small bowl, whisk together cold water and cornstarch until smooth.
- Slowly pour the cornstarch mixture into the boiling broth, stirring continuously.
- Cook for a few minutes until the gravy thickens to your liking.
PORK SAUSAGE GRAVY
Ingredients:
- 1 pound pork breakfast sausage
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 cups whole milk
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions:
- Cook pork breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned and crumbly.
- Add butter and stir until melted.
- Sprinkle in the flour, stirring well. Let it cook for a few minutes so the flour absorbs the fat and turns lightly golden.
- Slowly pour in the milk, stirring to keep it smooth.
- Continue cooking and stirring occasionally over medium heat for 5–10 minutes, until the gravy thickens to your liking.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
